Latest News Here! ... 2/6/2012 ... Pre-testing starts Monday 2/13 ...

INTERESTED? Try our Introductory Program: 4-weeks: $49.00 including uniform!  Please call 724-942-9522 for more information. We are now accepting pre-registrations for the next session which is scheduled to begin March 5th.  

PRE-TESTING BEGINS MONDAY 2/13: Students who wish to pre-test must meet the following qualifications...
1) The ability to perform the testing material to the instructor's satisfaction.
2) Must have attended a minimum of 12 classes. 
3) Camo belt and above must have at least 5 sparring day credits 
4) A current school and ATA National membership that does not expire before the date of testing.

IN SCHOOL TOURNAMENT Saturday February 18th: Pre-registration is now complete. Still want to register?  Please see an instructor.  Late registrants should not expect to receive any trophies earned until after the date of the tournament. 

T-SHIRT DAYS! Every Thursday and Friday this session!  Wear a T-Shirt to your workout.  Uniform pants and belt are still mandatory.

Snow Day Policy
Snow Day Cancellations will be announced here only, not on the radio or TV.
The final decision to cancel classes will be posted here no later than 2PM.

The decision to cancel classes or not will be made independent from the local school districts and based on the best information available at the time.  Once a decision is made to cancel classes, it will not be reversed even if conditions improve.

The ATA Academy in McMurray,  Pa. is a member of one of the world's largest martial arts organizations, the World Traditional Taekwondo Union. The United States Affiliate of the WTTU is the American Taekwondo Association.  We offer training for Men and Women, Adults, Teens, and Children.  

Taekwondo, The Way of Hand and Foot, is an exciting and powerful martial art known for its dynamic kicking and hand techniques.  Although these techniques are centuries old, our programs are always evolving to keep pace with the rapidly changing world.

Each student is trained based on his or her individual capabilities. Starting with the basics, we will enhance your physical capabilities and maximize your self defense skills.  You will understand exactly what it takes, mentally and physically, to defend yourself or your loved ones should the need ever arise.

At the ATA Martial Arts Academy, we are interested in the complete personal development of each student.  Individual attention is a feature of each and every class, allowing all students to progress quickly and confidently toward their personal goals.  We take our responsibility seriously as role models for younger students, teaching them the importance of strong character, leadership and good values.

The teaching curriculum at the ATA Martial Arts Academy is based on the concepts of "positive mental attitude" and "high goal setting."  We feel so positive about this program that we promise to give you and your family the most professional, well supervised, and highest quality classes available in any sport or art.
